GPS

We visited the La Brea Tar Pits last weekend, and Robert decided to drive from West Hollywood to Garden Grove via side streets, so we let the kids use our handheld GPS so they could track where we were and where we were headed. They loved it!

By the time they understood how the GPS worked, we asked them what they thought "GPS" stood for....here's what their answers were:

Joshua: Guidance Physics Shower (SHOW-er, not shower, by the way!!)

Matthew: Geographical Physical Shifter

Grace: This is The Way ( I loved her answer!!)

When we told them it meant Global Positioning System, Joshua said, "Oh! Just like it says "Global Positioning System activated" when a Battleship game starts!!!"
